The Challenge
Design and build a tabletop soldering quality testing machine. This machine should be able to test different models.
The Solution
Sasyaka Engineering designed a table top test rig machine to to verify the weld/solder quality of contactors on an electronic sub-assembly. This is a destructive test and is conducted on random sampling basis. The system consists of an indexing fixture which can accommodate different models that have to go through the same test. A tension/compression load-cell is equipped with a fixture that is further attached to the brass contactor. This is a machine used both in the developmental phase of the product as well as at the time of confirmation of production parameters.
